Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is an employer-driven immigration program designed to help skilled workers and international graduates from Atlantic Canada’s four provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador) to permanently settle in Canada. This program is aimed at addressing labor shortages in the region by attracting and retaining qualified workers.
Eligibility Requirements for the AIP
To be eligible for the Atlantic Immigration Program, you must have a confirmed job offer from a designated employer in an Atlantic province. You also need to meet the specific education, work experience, and language requirements set by the program. In some cases, applicants must have graduated from a recognized institution in an Atlantic province.
